The Zombie Journal is a social place for people to share their Zombie experiences. The Great Zombie Outbreak is over for now, but the events are still vivid memories for most and smaller incidents world wide are still a daily occurrence.
The goal of The Zombie Journal is also to bring awareness to the survivors. You are alive today because you did something right, but you can never know too much. Techniques and FAQ's whether they be here on this site or other websites and publications, they all play an instrumental role in our survival. We encourage everyone who visits the site to become a member and share your experiences, stories and survival tips. You can post on the forum, contribute to stories through comments or become an editor and have your own stories hosted on The Zombie Journal.
I have always been fascinated with the undead, but what always intrigued me the most was the survival instinct in humans and how we can work together or sometimes against each other. I must give credit where credit is due. The initial spark that generated the idea for this site came from the fantastic book World War Z by Max Brooks. Max Brooks also wrote the Zombie Survival guide which is probably responsible for saving countless lives during the outbreak and still does to this day with the many smaller outbreaks.
A Zombie site would not be complete without mentioning George A Romero, the Zombie master. His movies Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and Diary of the Dead show the cruel harsh and brutal reality of what a Zombie outbreak is really like.
I hope you find The Zombie Journal useful and urge everyone to contribute whatever stories you may have to share. Further more, if you were at one of the locations where a story on this site took place feel free to add to the comments or even submit your own encounter of the events.
